Everything you'd need to write about Comic Scry, in one place. For interview requests or anything else, email hi@comicscry.com — Adam reads it.

What it is, in one paragraph

Comic Scry is an iOS app that triages comic collections by photo. Point your phone at any cover and the app returns a Scry Value — a tier (Bulk to Major) plus a USD asking-price range from current eBay listings — and the confidence level on the identification. It's built for the moment when someone has a stack of comics they don't recognize — an estate sale, a garage haul, intake at a comic shop — and needs a fast decision. Five free scans to try; $19.99 one-time unlocks 500 lifetime scans. No subscription. Cover catalog comes from the Grand Comics Database, the volunteer-curated archive the Library of Congress mirrors.

Founder

Adam Kinney — solo founder, building Comic Scry alongside the broader Adam Kinney practice. The app started as a personal tool for clearing his own collection to clean his house; productized after the architecture proved out.
